        Kendre Miller a 'Great Fit' in Kellen Moore's Offense?

        Saints beat writer Ross Jackson calls Saints RB Kendre Miller a "great fit" for new HC Kellen Moore’s offense.

        Colts QB Anthony Richardson is believed to be recovered from the right shoulder issue he dealt with last month, according to ESPN's Stephen Holder. Richardson missed two weeks of June minicamp with an aggravation of the AC joint injury that ended his 2023 season. The rest has seemingly alleviated the issue, though. Richardson has been "throwing the ball with velocity" for weeks, per Holder, although it's still possible that he'll be on a pitch count early in camp.

        WR Mike Williams has informed the team that he's retiring, according to multiple reports. That ends an eight-year career that spanned three teams. Williams had signed a one-year contract this offseason to return the Chargers. That included just $3 million in salary, but it was all guaranteed. So he appeared on track to play it out. Williams split 18 games between the Jets and Steelers last season but totaled only 21 receptions and 1 TD. The Chargers had placed him on the physically unable to perform list for the start of this year's training camp, though the cause had been vague.

        Vikings WR Jordan Addison has agreed to a plea deal as a result of his 2024 DUI arrest, his lawyer announced on Thursday. Addison is being charged with a "wet reckless" offense, which is a reduced charge in a DUI case that admits to reckless driving as a result of alcohol.

        ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that a Dallas judge has sentenced Chiefs WR Rashee Rice to five years' probation and 30 days in jail for his role in a multi-car accident on March 30, 2024. It's a surprising turn in the case, given that no trial date had been set for Rice as of early July. This announcement of the sentence seems to signal that a plea bargain was reached. Of course, the big question for fantasy managers is whether and how long we should expect to lose Rice from our lineups now.

        NBC Sports Boston's Albert Breer says Patriots WR Stefon Diggs is "trending" to be ready for Week 1. He's working his way back from last October's torn ACL. Breer expects Diggs to open training camp on the PUP list but come off by the end of August.

        Chargers RB Najee Harris is expected to be placed on the non-football injury list to open training camp, GM Joe Hortiz said Wednesday. Hortiz added that Harris has been receiving treatment for his eye injury from doctors at Stanford.

        Commanders WR Terry McLaurin expressed his frustration with the Commanders on his quest for a new contract. He has also stated that he remains on the fence about holding out into training camp. He previously sat out minicamp, but McLaurin doesn't want to be traded. He reiterated that he wants to stay in Washington, but this situation could bleed over into training camp and create a complicated situation moving forward.

        Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs said he's being split out wide "way more" under new OC John Morton. Gibbs added that Morton wants him "more involved" in the passing game.

        Chargers RB Najee Harris is expected to be ready for the start of the season, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Harris suffered a relatively minor eye injury in a July 4 fireworks accident. He's expected to miss "limited time" at the start of training camp but return "sooner rather than later," Rapoport says.
